Design a Milk Carton competition
Primary school children in Jersey are being asked to come up with a design which will appear on the side of half litre milk cartons next year.
The Jersey Dairy competition, launching in association with the Jersey Evening Post, challenges Year 5 pupils from primary schools across the Island to come up with an image and caption to show why it is important to drink milk and lead an active life.
The competition is appearing as part of the ‘Simon Says’ weekly feature for children published in the Friday edition of the JEP. The winner will see his or her design reproduced on Jersey Dairy half litre milk cartons early in 2011.
Special lesson plans, approved by health professionals, have also been prepared to assist teachers with the preparation work for pupils.
